Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Zubair was most recently the chief economist for the Planning Commission at the Government of Pakistan. Before that, he served for twenty-two years as the lead economist for the Islamic Development Bank, based in Jeddah. He holds a bachelor's in mathematical economics from the London School of Economics and a master's and PhD in economics from the University of Sussex. His work brings the mathematical theory of chaos, system entropy, and black swan events to bear on Pakistan's macroeconomic trajectory.
