What the archive records
Umar Khan is Visa's country manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan. Raised in the Middle East and educated at the Pakistan embassy school, he spent two decades in telecom and fintech — riding the early mobile boom at Mobilink (now Jazz), helping launch EasyPaisa, and building digital-payments businesses across Eastern Europe, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand before returning to Pakistan in 2019.
