Karachi-born, she studied history and economics at NYU, was among the first staff setting up NYU Abu Dhabi, and ran a father-daughter food-trading business between Latin America and the Middle East. She mentors for MIT and led Safepay to an audience-award win at Visa's Everywhere Initiative.
