What the archive records
Dr. Shahid Qureshi is the rector of GIFT University in Gujranwala. A mechanical engineer by training (UET Taxila), he earned a master's at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, an MBA at LUMS, and a PhD in entrepreneurship in Germany. He spent twelve years building and running the Centre for Entrepreneurship at IBA Karachi, where he developed an indigenous, mindset-first model of entrepreneurship grounded in effectuation theory.
