Marriyum Aurangzeb is the senior minister of Punjab in the cabinet of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. She entered parliament in 2013 from a professional background at WWF, where she worked for nearly a decade on conservation and climate change after a master's in economics from Quaid-i-Azam University and a degree in environmental economics, development and climate change from King's College London. She has previously served as minister of state for information and as federal information minister.
