What the archive records
Dr Humayon Dar is an economist who has spent more than three decades inside Islamic finance. He did his bachelor's and master's in economics at the International Islamic University in Islamabad, followed by an M.Phil and PhD in economics from Cambridge. He was previously the CEO of Deutsche Bank's Islamic Finance Division and has served on the Shariah boards of institutions including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Islamic Bank of Malaysia.
