What the archive records
Habib Bokhari is the founding vice chancellor of Kohsar University Murree and a longtime professor and chairman of the Department of Biosciences at COMSATS University Islamabad, where he helped launch one of Pakistan's first bioinformatics programs in 2003. He earned his PhD in molecular biology from the University of Glasgow on a Commonwealth Scholarship, held a Commonwealth Academic Fellowship at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and was a Fulbright fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the board of trustees of the Pakistan Science Foundation and on the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission's alumni advisory panel.
