What the archive records
Umar grew up in Faisalabad, a textile city where his family ran factory operations. After graduating university and living abroad in Scotland, he returned in 2013 to join his father's business. Instead of taking a director title, he chose to learn from the ground up. What started as a side project selling export leftovers online became ELO, now serving over a million unique customers with a 50 to 60 percent repeat customer rate.
