What the archive records
Uloomi Karim was raised in Hunza, in Pakistan's northern areas. He began training in Wushu as a child, transitioned to Taekwondo, Kyokushin, boxing, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He became Pakistan's first international MMA belt winner in 2016. He now runs Team Fight Fortress, a training academy in Islamabad, and has coached Pakistan's first female professional MMA fighter, his sister Anita.
