What the archive records
With 16 years in finance and economics, Sayem started his career at the World Bank in 2004, including the 2005 earthquake relief effort. He spent nearly a decade at Standard Chartered Bank managing international and domestic clients through the 2008 financial crisis, and now advises the Pakistan Ministry of Finance while teaching economics at IBA.
