Nayab Babar grew up between Lahore and Islamabad, the son of an Air Force pilot who flew in the 1965 war. After a finance education spanning a University of London program, the CFA track, and a master's at Queen Mary in London, he worked in consulting at Grant Thornton and Bridge Factor, led project finance on public-private road projects at FWO, invested at VEON Ventures in deals like ShopUp and Dastgyr, and worked at JazzCash before joining the Pakistan Startup Fund at the start of 2025.
