Junaid Iqbal was managing director of Careem Pakistan and Careem Saudi Arabia, and at the time of the Uber acquisition was MD of Careem Pay across all markets. Before that he was a Pakistani business journalist who built the country's first live market-hours stock show on Geo, then ran two securities firms — BMA Financial and Elixir Securities. He now runs a startup out of Dubai and advises others.
