Who Will Win Pakistan’s 2024 Elections? Part 1

नमस्कार welcome back to another episode of देल की बात. आज की episode बहुत लंबी होगी और in fact यह दो parts में divided होगी आधा part आज होगा आधा part कल होगा क्योंकि there is a lot of content to go through और परसों elections हैं. तो उससे पहले मैंने सोचा कि history के हो सकते हैं, facts दूसरी countries के हो सकते हैं. उन facts से जब आप देखते तो आप जाकर उसको बेशक मुझे fact check करें, Google करें, उसको study कर लें. मैं जो बोल रहा हूं मेरी बात को as it is ना माने. आप जाएं और जाकर Google करें हर चीज़ पर रखूं और मैं logically, rationally और critical thinking के साथ किसी चीज़ को approach करूं और उसमें बड़ा जाहिर है Pakistan में आजकल के environment में बड़ा बड़ा difficult हो जाता है. आपका आप किसी को support करते हैं. आप उसके ख़िलाफ़ कुछ sun ही नहीं सकते. तो वहां पर ना उससे होता यह है कि जब आप rationally नहीं सोच रहे होते ना, जब emotionally सोच रहे होते हैं तो you you lose sight of the bigger picture. You lose sight of exactly what's going on and you get distracted. काफ़ी दवा आपको emotional किया जाता है आपको distract करने के लिए. तो जब आप इस conversation को sun रहे हैं I want कि आप अपने emotions को, अपनी affiliations को, अपने baggage को थोड़ी देर लिए side पर रखें और इसको बहुत एक academic और एक honest एक एक critical thinking के तरीके से आप आकर rationally इसको approach करें. दुनिया तो ऐसी है तो यह ऐसे ही यह सही है. There's nothing wrong with that. So you need to humanize individuals and you need to understand that there in their minds what they're trying to do is supposedly best for the country you know in terms of policies and so on and so forth. अब इसमें आप यह कह सकते हैं कि यार वह policies redundant हो चुकी हैं या वह obsolete हो चुकी हैं या दुनिया बदल चुकी है या current environment में, current variables में वह policies applicable नहीं है. जो कि आज हम यही करेंगे थोड़ा सा and I want you to approach this entire conversation with that lens rather than a lens of emotions or a lens of good versus evil. अच्छा जी conversation को मैं जब start करूंगा तो पाक्षतानी politics या Pakistan में जो हो रहा है यह आने वाले वक़्त में जो होगा every given time is always connected to what is happening in the global world order. So मैं start करूंगा with a little bit of history. पहले तो समझते हैं कि global world order पिछले सौ साल में था क्या और evolve किस तरह से हुआ? अच्छा, सबसे पहले मैं World War two खत्म हुई तो Britain बहुत ज़्यादा debt में था और दो major powers उसके बाद emerge किए एक America, United States और एक USSR जो कि Soviet Russia वह communist था Soviet Russia और America जो था वह free market capitalist था और इसके अंदर जैसे ही हालांकि इन दोनों ने साथ मिलकर नाज़दी Germany को हराया था लेकिन जैसे ही world war ख़त्म हुई तो यह दोनों आपस में competition में लग गए और वह competition eventually एक sort of cold war में तब्दील हो गया जिसमें nuclear race भी हुई, जिसमें space race भी हुई, वह सारा कुछ हुआ you know you've probably seen a ton of films around it as well. अच्छा यह जो जंग थी ना यह जंग economic system की थी capitalism versus communism और उसके corresponding certain values थी. जिस तरह से America जो है वह कहता था कि जो हम democracy में believe करते हैं, हम freedom में believe करते हैं, freedom of press, freedom of this, freedom of that और फिर USSR जो था वह एक बिल्कुल ही different निज़ाम था वह उसकी political economy. यह बड़े important words हैं क्योंकि politics economy से दूर नहीं होती. वह directly connect होती है और बहुत closely connected होती है. तो वह बिल्कुल ही फ़र्क़ थी Russia की और Soviet Russia की. तो दोनों के दोनों ख़ैर आपस में compete कर रहे थे और पूरी दुनिया के अंदर जो है वह जो जो जो डराड़े थी ना जो camps थे वह पूरी दुनिया में फैले हुए थे और उसकी उसी के दौरान regime changes भी हो रही थी, उसी के दौरान proxy wars भी हो रही थी, so on and so forth. South Korea, North Korea, Vietnam यह ज़्यादातर जो आप उस time की जंगे हैं जो जो forties से लेकर nineties even Afghanistan तक की जंग जो थी वह सारी USSR और America के दरमियान जंगे थी जिसमें different different countries पुड़काई जा रही थी essentially और इसमें बड़ा common था कि regime changes हो जाए. ज़ाहिर है कि जो different super powers थी उनका यह होता था कि यार अगर तो जो ruling class है या तो वह मेरे साथ हो अगर वह नहीं है तो can I use agents and can I use something one thing or the other to change the regime और जो opposing side है मैं उसको ले आऊं ताकि वह मुझे support करें क्योंकि again competition चल रहा है ना एक बड़ा और उसमें सिर्फ़ superpowers नहीं है? वह निज़ाम की competition है तो उसमें जो different states हैं वह power drive करती हैं superpower की और वह उस competition में ज़ाहिर है, participate करती हैं. So anyways regime changes भी हो रही थी और यह बड़ा normal था. यह अगर आज आप history में पढ़ते हैं तो यह बड़ी normal सी चीज़ है. हां इसमें आप ethically, morally और बहुत सारे तरीकों से आप इसको कह सकते हैं कि you know argue कर सकते हैं कि यह गलत है लेकिन again जब अगर आप ethics, morals और emotions निकाल दें दो minute के लिए तो I think most human beings would do that. Power जब आती है ना आपके पास Pakistan के पास अगर पौधा power आ जाएगी. Pakistan ने भी किया Afghanistan के अंदर एक strategic depth बनाई हमने और हमने उसके अंदर जो है ना different different actors को support किया, different actors के खिलाफ गए. अफगान war के अंदर what the Americans did was कि उन्होंने Afghanistan को use किया to exhaust USSR. वैसे उन्होंने बहुत सारी तरीकों से वैसे भी exhaust किया हुआ था और communism was not able to even though उनकी military might बहुत ज़्यादा थी लेकिन economically जो Soviet Russia था वह बिल्कुल exhaust हो चुका था और Afghanistan was a last straw that broke the camel's back जिसमें basically उसके बाद वह sustain नहीं कर सके. So, war end हुई. 1991 Soviet Russia finally collapses and America emerges as a sole super power of the world. अच्छा 1991 से लेकर 2024 में अगर हम आते हैं तो उस time पर America by and large has been the sole superpower of the world and जहां पर वह sole superpower है जाहिर है कि वह एक तो वह grow भी बहुत ज़्यादा किया क्योंकि you know nobody is there to challenge them but also उसने अपनी power को abuse भी बहुत ज़्यादा किया. बहुत सारी जंगे की Middle East को मतलब you know तीन चार countries को तबाह कर दिया millions of लोग मारे जिसकी वजह से एक बहुत ज़्यादा resentment भी create हुआ. फिर उसकी वजह से जो counter action हुआ but पिछले तीस सालों के अंदर particularly हमारे region में इर्द गृत हमें बहुत ज़्यादा जंगे नज़र आई और उसने बहुत ज़्यादा हमारी psyche को हमारी ideologies को impact किया. Meanwhile पिछले दस पंद्रह सालों के अंदर हमने देखा कि Russia वापस you know एकदम से rice करना शुरू हुआ. China rice करना शुरू हुआ. China की जो rice थी वह largely Chinese ने बड़ा interesting खेला. वह खामोशी खामोशी बैठे रहे उन्होंने Americans को जाए कहा कि sir you know China is going to overtake The US as the world's biggest economy in the next three four years and you know China is now emerging as a major super power. Meanwhile Russia जो है उसने अपने आप को militarily वापस emerge करवाया You know some of the best planes in the world, some of the best missile defense system in the world वह सारा Russia आज तक बना रहा है. But this time around they didn't just go for the military. उन्होंने अपनी economics को भी खेला, उन्होंने pipelines की पूरी की पूरी politics की, Europe में pipelines बिछाई, इधर से pipelines ला रहे थे और जो largely पिछले कुछ अरसे में हम जंगे भी देख रहे हैं ना जो Syria की जंग है या Armenia की जंग है. तो उसमें कहीं ना कहीं at every given time एक America की currency की power पूरी दुनिया में exist करेगी तो America की currency essentially America will have the power कि वह unlimited currency print करें और उनकी economy अच्छी हो या उनकी economy बुरी हो वह control करेंगे कि दुनिया की economy कैसे चलेगी सकते. लेकिन अगर पूरी दुनिया trade dollar में कर रही है तो America को कुछ भी चाहिए. तो वह dollar print करेंगे वह जाकर वह चीज़ ख़रीद लेंगे. That gives them virtually unlimited resources and unlimited power और अगर यह challenge हो जाए तो America के लिए बहुत detrimental हो सकता है as a super power. जब आज हम देखते हैं ना कि America किस हाल में है तो हमें नज़र आता है कि America के अंदर जो structurally वह बहुत क़रीब है जिसमें USSR था. उनका $33,000,000,000,000 का debt हो चुका हुआ है. तो उसी तरीके से America भी बहुत similar situation में आज खड़ा हुआ है और उस context में जब आप देखते हैं ना कि आज basically China और Russia एक एक मिलकर camp बनकर America को challenge कर रहे हैं जिस तरीके से उस time के ऊपर USSR को America ने challenge किया था. तो China America को economically challenge कर रहा है. China का बार बार आ रहा है कि they're going to become the biggest economy. वह एक productivity driven economy है जिसके अंदर वह you know exports कर रहे हैं उनका surplus crazy होता है हर साल का. वह export पर export करते हैं follow China और आपने recently सुना भी होगा खबरों के अंदर कि जी हवाबी पर ban लगा दिया. You know, silicon chips के ऊपर जो है वह एक फड्डा चल रहा है, trade war हो रही है, यह हो रहा है, वह हो रहा है. वह इस वजह से हो रहा है because China ने अब challenge करना शुरू कर दिया American might को economics के अंदर. Meanwhile Russia ने Ukraine में जाकर America को militarily challenge करना शुरू कर दिया है और वह कर ही रहे हैं कि वह Ukraine को use कर रहे हैं America को exhaust करने के लिए. वह एक long drawn सी war है. अब Russia की इतनी power है वह बड़े आराम से जाता और जाकर Ukraine को फ़ौड़का सकता था That was the moment when Britain cease to be the global superpower and America emerged as a global superpower. तो इसी तरह America का आप कह रहे हैं कि potentially एक Suez Canal moment हमारे सामने आ सकता है in the near future. अच्छा अब जो यह America में changes आ रही हैं ना इसको जब आप समझ लेते हैं कि यार अच्छा नहीं उनका इतना simple scene नहीं है कि वह एक super power है वह चल रही है. America का अपने internally उनके बहुत सारे missile चल रहे हैं. उनका जो super power status है वह challenge हो रहा है और अगर वह challenge हो गया तो उनके उनको बहुत बहुत ज़्यादा उसके repercussions deal करने पड़ेंगे. जिसकी वजह से within America दो ideologies बैठी हुई हैं इस वक्त. एक वह ideology है जो current American establishment है जो status quo है. Status quo basically वह होती है जो कि prevailing जो ideology जितना निज़ाम चल रहा है उसी निज़ाम को चलाने वाले जो होते हैं वह यह कहता है कि यार America एक powerful nation है और हमारी military might बहुत strong है. हम बेशक तो उसको media ने ज़लीर करके रख दिया. उसको कहा यह वह racist है, वह यह है, वह वह है, वह womenizer है, वह islamophobe है. हर किस्म की बुरी चीज़ उसके खिलाफ आई. लेकिन अगर आप इस सारे को you know खुरेद खुरेद के आप देखेंगे की policy क्या थी, उसकी ideology क्या थी, आपको समझ आना शुरू होती है कि Trump represented the change in America. What he represented was उसको यह समझ आ गई हुई थी कि America का downfall potentially आ सकता है अगर हमने अपने आप को बदला नहीं और वह बदलनाया का उसका मकसद यह था वह कह रहा था कि यार जंगे ख़त्म करो. हम इतना सारा trillions of dollars बाहर लगा रहे हैं. हम NATO को इतना पैसा दे रहे हैं for what? हम different countries में हम Afghanistan में घुसे में पता नहीं कहां कहां घुसे में? For what? जो external पैसा वह जाया कर रहे हैं उसको internally लगाकर अपने infrastructure को upgrade करना है. Automation पर जाना है, manufacturing वह बड़े आराम से कर सकते हैं in the age of automation. तो वह यह कह रहे हैं यार अपने ऊपर focus करो और America को वापस लाकर खड़ा करो ताकि हम दस साल, पंद्रह साल, बीस साल बाद फिर से as a as a leading super power emerge करें. अच्छा यह चीज़ again America में दो camps government change हुई. मैं regime change नहीं कहूंगा. Regime change आप इस तरह से कह सकते हैं कि status quo and establishment was very integral in making sure कि Trump gets removed. Trump gets unpopular. Media उसके खिलाफ था. Constantly इधारे उसके खिलाफ थे, FBI उसके पीछे पड़ी हुई थी और फिर दो हज़ार बीस में हमने देखा कि after he got out of office तो एक जनवरी छह का insurrection का वाकया हुआ जिसके अंदर जो है वह उसके जो supporters थे वह एक you know important building के अंदर घुस गए और America ने देखा उन्होंने कहा कि अस्तख्फरल्लाह यह कैसे हो गया? यह तो ऐसा है जैसे हमारे मुल्क पर हमला हो गया हो यह तो traitors हैं सारे के सारे और उसके बाद क्या हुआ जी Trump साहब को जो है वह media से ban कर दिया गया. Trump साहब के ऊपर सौ और ज़्यादा cases वन गए और Trump साहब जो है वह ऐसा लगा कि यार यह तो एक छोटा सा blip in the timeline था यह कोई clown था वह आ गया था in the recent history of America and इस वक़्त जो polls हैं America में अगर आप उनको देखें तो Trump is leading by five points and he will most likely come back as the president of United States in November जब इस साल उनके elections हैं और हमने यह देखा कि Trump जब वह आया तो उसने आकर कोई नई जंग भी नहीं शुरू की. उसने Afghanistan से ही बंदे वापस बुलाने का plan बना लिया. In fact वह था in office when when they came out. उसने जो है वह Israel के साथ भी deal की, Saudiयों के साथ भी deal की. वह पूरी दुनिया में ना मतलब एक एक वह North Korea भी चला गया. वह Russia के साथ दोस्ती वह कह रहा था यार Russians के साथ इस वक्त पंगे लेने की ज़रूरत नहीं है. दोस्ती करो again अपने ऊपर focus करो. तो वह एक बहुत different सोच के साथ चल रहा था और उस time के ऊपर वह इतनी radical सोच थी कि जो prevailing establishment थी उनको यह लगा कि यार यह तो मतलब यह सोच तो public कभी भी नहीं accept करेगी. उन्होंने start में किया भी जब उन्होंने उसके बारे में मज़ाक उड़ाया उसका you know उसको सारा कुछ किया तो public हो गई दो minute के लिए कि यार यह तो seen off है उसका लेकिन over time हमने यह देखा in the age of knowledge and information कि ज़्यादा अरसा वह उसको ostracize कर नहीं सके, वह उसको बाहर रख नहीं सके और अब public के अंदर एक support base बढ़ती जा रही है. Trump के लिए तो बढ़ती ही जा रही है लेकिन status quo का जो downfall है वह ज़्यादा actually. More people are now anti Joe Biden because of what is happening in Palestine and Israel and what's happening in Ukraine and Russia as well. Like अब वह उनके अपने लोग यह कह रहे कि यार हम यहां पर हमारे homeless लोग बैठे में हमारी economy दबा हुई भी है. हम tens of billions of dollars Ukraine क्यों भेज रहे फिर वह Israel परिस्थारी में देख रहे उनके सामने genocide हो रहा है. International court of justice कह रहा है genocide हो रहा है लेकिन Joe Biden की homeopathic statements आ रही हैं वह कुछ seriously कर नहीं रहा तो उसकी वजह से democrats जो हैं बहुत खिलाफ हो गए हैं उसके. तो अब it's becoming apparent कि Trump will come back in November obviously anything can happen but अभी तक जो data है वह यह point कर रहा है कि he will come back as the president of The United States in November. अच्छा यहां पर मैं इस part को ख़त्म करूंगा बस with this thought कि इस वक़्त अभी यह समझ लें दो हज़ार चौबीस है और इस वक़्त दुनिया में जो एक sole super power America थी अब वह सिर्फ़ America नहीं रह गई बल्कि एक power competition फिर से start हो चुका हुआ है between America and China and Russia और एक emerge कर रहा है multipolar world emerge कर रहा है जिसमें China, Russia global south के साथ है, developing world के साथ है और वह developing world के साथ मिलकर यह कह रहे कि यार हां American imperial system जो सिर्फ़ America को enrich करता है और America का rule based order चलता है जिसमें आपके आंखों के सामने genocide हो रहा है लेकिन आप you know चूंकि वह आपका दोस्त है तो आप उसको touch नहीं कर सकते तो यह तो unfair system है. तो Russia और China पूरे global South के साथ मिलकर एक एक तरफ खड़े में और एक तरफ western world order है जिसमें America है, Europe है, Israel है, Australia है, India to some extent emerge कर रहा है वहां पर. अगर हम global South की बात करें तो South Africa, Brazil यह आपको नज़र आते हैं with China and Russia. अच्छा इसके बाद I wanna I wanna talk about Pakistan's history with The US and as a super power जब US पिछले सत्तर साल की जो हमारी तारीख़ है उसमें हमने किस तरीके से उसके साथ deal किया? सबसे पहले तो हम सबको पता है कि जी right after independence हम US camp में चले गए थे और बड़ा openly हम US camp और Western Camp में चले गए थे. मैं चाहूंगा कि जो Wikipedia का excerpt है ना Pakistan US relation का वह मैं quickly पढ़ लूं. वह present में conspiracy होती है. हमेशा दस साल बाद पता लगता है कि यार वह actual था. So anyways I just want to sort of rationalize and humanize the changes the the the things that happen in a relationship with a super power. Pakistan and The United States established relations on 08/15/1947, a day after the independence of Pakistan when The United States was one of the first nations to recognize Pakistan. The relationship between the two nations, however, has been described as a roller coaster given by the characterization of close coordination and lows marked by deep bilateral bilateral estrangement. मतलब वह यह कह रहे हैं कि यार constantly rocky रही है. कभी तो best friends बने हुए थे और कभी full फट्टा हुआ हुआ है और sanctions लगी हुई है. During the cold war nineteen forty five to 1991 Pakistan allied itself with the Western block led by The United States against the eastern block led by the Soviet Union. Cold war थी, cold war में दो camps थे. हमने अपने आप को Western Block के camp में officially बड़ा openly डाल दिया हुआ था. Following the nineteen fifty eight पाकिस्तानी military coup, president मोहम्मद आयुब खान established a strong military alliance with The United States during the बांग्लादेश liberation war and the indo पाकिस्तानी war of nineteen seventy one. With you know US और यह फिर इसकी detail में आप जाते हैं तो आपको पता लगता है कि America ने हमें actually support नहीं किया था जो support हमें चाहिए थी इन दोनों wars में. तो उनका एक उनका एक shift आ गया हुआ था और वह एक तो communism की तरफ भी थोड़े थे socialist थे तो वह ज़्यादा inspire होना शुरू हुए थे with the USSR system. Again, एक ideology से हटकर वह दूसरी ideology की तरफ़ आना शुरू हो गए हुए थे and he became anti American in a lot of ways. 1977 Bhutto was overthrown in a military coup by Mohammad Zayal Hague following the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979. Pakistan and The United States cooperated in the funding and financing of the anti communist Afghan मुझाहिदीन and then in the ensuing first अफ़गान civil war. With sanctions waived in 1994 with Pakistan's willingness to participate with The United States in the wars in Somalia and Bosnia, relations improved. So, उस time के ऊपर आपको याद होगा कि वह Bosnia में जंग चल रही थी और उसमें US was supporting Bosnia तो उसमें Pakistan के जो फौजी थे वह गए थे UN के दस्तों में और they fought you know with the Bosnian soldiers as well. तो उसमें उन्होंने कहा जी थोड़े से relationship improve हुई जब उस time के ऊपर again एक geopolitical requirement पैदा हुई. So आप बारह बारह देखेंगे कि जो rocky relationship है जब भी America को एक geopolitical requirement आई तो वह relationship एकदम से रुकी. Transactional relationship है. वह एकदम से खुली वह आए और उन्होंने कहा कि यार यह requirement है यह यह करो. हमने कहा ok हमने किया और फिर एकदम से वापस वह गिर गई for some weird reason. But anyways तो nineteen ninety four में जी relationship बेहतर हो गई. फिर nineteen ninety eight में उन्होंने फिर से sanctions लगा दें जब हमने nuclear test किया और उसके बाद फिर दो हज़ार एक में जो है वह sanctions भी lift हो गई सब ok हो गया जब अफगान की जंग हुई और फिर आपको पता है मुशहरफ़ साहब थे और हम Afghanistan वाली जंग में घुस गए आठ दस साल उसमें हमने time ज़्यादा किया. You know खराब होना शुरू हो गई. फिर अजीब Rocky सी relationship relationship रही. Noon के time पर, Noon League के time पर हमने एकदम से China को discover किया और हमने China से बहुत ज़्यादा you know एक deeper than sea और sweeter than honey relationship time किया CPAC के through और फिर eventually खान साहब का time आया और Trump ने actually multiple times क्योंकि उस समय यह बड़ी बड़ी rocky relationship चल रही थी. बड़े Trump would come in and he would say this or that. तीन चार दफा he would tweet you know against Pakistan कि Pakistan needs to do more और Pakistan तो double game खेल रहा है और Pakistan बड़ा बुरा है और यह और वह है. तो उसके बाद खान साहब ने दो तीन दफ़ा respond किया. Twitter पर ही respond किया कि जी ऐसा है यह वैसा है और उस पर बड़ा interesting था because ऐसा लग रहा था कि Trump being the sort of person that he is तो वह तो बड़ा ही anti Pakistan होगा और Pakistan के लिए बड़ा बुरा होगा. But somehow Pakistan actually और you know the prime minister इमरान खान actually had a very good working relationship with president Trump और उस time के ऊपर actually Pakistan की जो engagement थी US से वह बड़ी अच्छी होना शुरू हो गई. That was until 2020 and then it all changed. So 2020 के end 2021 में essentially Joe Biden power में आए और उन्होंने आने के बाद खान साहब को call नहीं की. For some weird reason और फिर हमने देखा कि you know those relationships started going worse and worse and worse and they culminated in 2022 जब हमने देखा कि इमरान ख़ान साहब Russia गए और Russia जाने के बाद पहले तो publicly हमें बहुत होता statements वगैरह आईं कि जी Pakistan needs to condemn Russia. Pakistan को जो है ना पहले तो वह जाना नहीं चाहिए था बड़ा बुरा हुआ फिर Pakistan needs to support Ukraine कि 2022 में, April में यह vote of no confidence हुआ और फिर उसके बाद खान साहब ने पूरा वह situation explain की कि जी regime change and you know cipher and all of that. I don't wanna get into the cipher and you know conspiracy थी या क्या कह रहे थे मुद्दाखलत थी या you know conspiracy थी but what I do want to get at is कि one thing is certain America as a superpowers was not happy with इमरान खान just as they were not happy with भुट्टो back in the days. भुट्टो and इमरान खान in that context both were very similar. They they both were you know hardcore nationalists. They both said कि जी हमने पाकिस्तानी nationalism को हमने उठाना है. हमने जो है वह Islamic world के अंदर एक revival लेकर आना है. भुट्टो at the time was instrumental in creating OIC. But in real politic power जब होती है तो power exert भी होती है और ख़ासकर वह power exertion बढ़ जाती है जब जो superpowers हैं वह insecure होना शुरू हो जाती है और हमें यह बात मालूम है कि पिछले दस साल के अंदर America की insecurity बहुत ज़्यादा बढ़ गई है क्योंकि उसको challenge करना शुरू कर दी है. इसको तो हमने समझ लिया ना I wanna discuss कि जो हमारी different political parties हैं उनकी relationship कैसी रही है America के साथ? P party की हम quickly बात कर लेते हैं तो हमें पता है कि जो P party के बानी थे भुट्टो साहब उन्होंने वह anti American थे और उस anti Americanism की वजह से ना सिर्फ़ उनको जो है वह हटाया गया बल्कि इतना brutally हटाया गया कि eventually उनको पांसी भी चढ़ा दी गई और you know and that was largely driven by the West that did not want to lose Pakistan. So वह उन्होंने उनको हटाया, उनको हटाकर उन्होंने ensure किया कि you know वह कभी वापस ना आ सकें and then right after that you know एक एक एक military government type Pakistan में और उस government ने Pakistan को एक सीधा war मिले गई जो कि again like I said कि super power एक geopolitical reasons की वजह से regime change करती है जब भी situation change हो रही होती है. तो उन्होंने you know 77 में वह किया, 79 में we were into a war and then you know दस साल हमने America का essentially we were a satellite state of the America part of their global agenda. अच्छा for Peoples party they never got over that trauma. That is why उन्होंने उनकी ideology को accept किया और accept करके वह उसको आगे लेकर जा रही थी. Global super power. इसी ने आगे जाना है. हमारा जीना मरना हमारा future उनके साथ है. सिर्फ़ यह नहीं कि as as a partner with America within this new framework this new cold war that is emerging a lot of talking points जो Peoples Party के agenda में हैं, जो Peoples Party के जो जो activists हैं, जो लोग हैं वह ज़्यादातर talking points US से आ रहे हैं. वह US based world order के talking points हैं जो वह आगे लेकर आ रहे हैं. Peoples Party की generally ideology वह मैं पिछले दिनों जो मैंने उनकी manifesto video की थी उसमें मैंने आपको बताया था कि उन लोगों के लिए उन्होंने China का mention भी नहीं किया उन्होंने Russia का mention भी नहीं किया हुआ. So they are very much hardcore in the Western camp. They believe कि West is going to be the the ultimate super power. उसको कोई challenge नहीं कर सकता and, you know, they're happy with that. अच्छा, जब PMLN की हम बात करते हैं ना तो उसमें largely आपको कोई इतना tilt नज़र नहीं आता और उनके manifesto में भी नज़र आता और आपको उनके past background में भी नज़र आता. और उस point के ऊपर जो है वह फिर एकदम से मुशरफ़ साहब आ गए और फिर America ने back करके मुशरफ़ साहब को essentially space दी कि you know वह अपनी जो नई regime है उसको चला सकें for so long और फिर हम historically बेनज़ीर साहिबा को क्योंकि US back कर रहा था तो वैसे generally you don't see PMLN to be very pro America and again ideologically भी you know जो उनका core they are in center right so they don't go well with the American world view or the American world order. But at this point in time they are largely neutral उनके manifesto में भी यही है कि जी China भी ok America भी ok so PMLN is pretty much neutral. फिर PTI की बात करते हैं और PTI में हमारे पास खान साहब की अट्ठाईस साल की politics आती है 1996 से लेकर अब तक जो कि उस वक़्त से अब तक anti imperialist है और उस वक़्त से अब तक वह यही बात कर रही है कि America needs to stop drones, America की जंगों से बाहर निकलें. बिलावल भुटो साहब is not wrong when he believes in in in his framework कि यार America is all super all powerful and we need to we we need to pursue that ideology to grow and इमरान खान is also not wrong. अगर if he believes कि यार you know what American imperialism ने हमें तबाह किया और अगर हम उस imperialism से हट जाएं और हम self sufficient हो जाएं तो हमारे solutions उसमें lie करते हैं. You can disagree with the ideologies but their ideologies nonetheless. Anyways तो वह वह anti imperialist तो वह रहे हैं और उसमें वह बात यही करते हैं कि जी मैं पूरी दुनिया घूमा, मैं west घूमा और यह और वह सारा कुछ तो उस वक़्त मैंने realize किया कि यार यह तो बड़ा एक imperialist सी society है और यह हमारा पैसा लेकर जा रही है और you know यह अपने dollar पर अपनी power पर dollar चलाती है और basically वह यह कहते कि एक grid system है. जिसमें गरीब आदमी का पैसा जो है वह वहां पर offshore park होता है और वह आपके ऊपर sanctions लगाते हैं और वह आपको अपने geopolitical games में फेंकते हैं और उन games की वजह से आपकी कोई ideology नहीं होती है, आपकी कोई foundation नहीं होती है, आप constantly उनको follow कर रहे होते हैं. You're at the whim of the, you're at their mercy and so उनकी कोई relationship इतनी अच्छी नहीं रही, इतना experience इतना अच्छा नहीं रहा और वह उनकी ideology में directly embedded है. जब उनकी वह power में आई दो हज़ार अठारह में तो क्योंकि उस side के ऊपर Trump was also an agent of change in The US, right? So he was also in a way curtailing the American imperial power and saying कि we need to we need to stop stretching out. हम वापस अंदर आए और अंदर आकर हम business और economy भी focus करें. तो in that aspect he was able to connect with इमरान खान. So he had good tooth two years twenty eighteen to twenty twenty जिसमें America के साथ अच्छे तालुकाते but then as soon as the government changed वह तालुकात पर ख़राब हो गए. At this point in time जहां पर खान साहब बोलते हैं कि यार मैं neutral हूं और Pakistan को neutral होना चाहिए वह real framework of the global world order के अंदर वह actually neutral नहीं है वह anti America है. Because America expects for Pakistan जो कि एक long term partner है कि वह fully support करेगा. देखिए relationship को समझे ना एक asymmetric relationship है. आपके पास इतनी अच्छी economy नहीं है. आप उनको कुछ ख़ासा export नहीं कर सकते हैं. आप और कुछ नहीं दे सकते utility रह गई है और फिर आप वही offer करोगे US को. Right? So अगर खान साहब आते और कहते हैं जी हमने वह utility offer नहीं करनी तो then suddenly in a lot of ways for the American super power जो है वह सिर्फ़ यह नहीं कह रही कि यह neutral हो गया वह कह रही है यह anti American हो गया है क्योंकि यह हमारे जो जो हमारा agenda है उसको यह you know further नहीं कर रहा है या support नहीं कर रहा है. That doesn't go too well with a super power that is insecure right now and in the midst of a growing cold war that is turning into hot war in certain areas in Ukraine and in Israel Palestine and so on. अच्छा थोड़ा सा मैं अब discuss करना चाहूंगा कि exactly 2022 में जब regime change हुई या नई government आई तो exactly हुआ क्या? अरे तो we know that US was upset at इमरान खान. They made it very very clear उन्होंने they did not like इमरान खान and his policies जो absolutely not था that did not go too well with The US. The fact कि जी हमने drone की basis नहीं देनी, that did not go too well with The US. फिर इमरान खान going to UN, being very outspoken, शाह मिमूद कुरैशी going to New York and giving an interview and saying कि जी deep pockets की वजह से you know फ़लस्तीन का cause नहीं उठ पाता. A lot of these things अब आप सोचो ना आज आपको समझ आती है यह बात कि जब super power of the scale of America वह जब अनोय होना शुरू हो जाए ना आप इस तरह की बड़ी clear serious बातों के ऊपर तो फिर again हमारे पास history में साहब की example exist करती है. So US was not happy और इसमें Intercept का भी multiple articles आ चुके हैं. अभी recently एक very well known, well respected author ने एक बहुत detail में पूरा बताया हुआ है कि you know US regime change किस तरह हुआ Pakistan के अंदर और उसकी सारी की सारी क्या details थी. वह भी मैं चाहूंगा कि मैं link नीचे कर दूं in the description you can check that out as well. But anyways based on you know anecdotal जो हमने सुना है intercept का article आगे पीछे की चीज़ें हमें जो पता है somewhat वह यह है कि जो US और UK के ambassadors थे उन्होंने actively लोगों से मिलकर उन्होंने plan किया और उन्होंने pursue किया कि उन्होंने convince किया हमारे लोगों को. उन्होंने कहा कि यार खान maybe not the right guy तो maybe the other side can take over power and you know एक एक एक नई ideology पाक्षतानी government में आ जाए. Again दो minute के लिए मैं इसमें conspiracy नहीं बना रहा, मैं अच्छा बुरा नहीं बना रहा, मैं good और bad नहीं कर रहा. मैं नहीं कह रहा कि यार other side was bad for doing this. I'm saying this is normal. It happens. Even इमरान खान has like जब उन्होंने power में आना था तो उन्होंने Pakistan में establishment की support ली और वह दो हज़ार अट्ठारह में you know he was on one page. तो power में आने के लिए लोग करते हैं चीज़ें और अगर आप उसको emotionally ना देखें, आप ideologically देखें तो खान साहब की ideology थी कि यार he was anti imperialist and he did not believe कि we need to be furthering American imperialist power. एक other side थी जो believe करती थी कि यार जो जिस flow जिस direction में खान साहब जा रहे हैं वह direction सही नहीं है और हमारा future externally हमारा future शायद US से linked है और अगर वह upset हो जाए और वह हमारे साथ हमारे पास sanctions वग़ैरह लगा दे तो शायद future हमारा इतना अच्छा नहीं होगा. तो उन्होंने उनकी support ली और support लेकर उन्होंने जो है एक regime change orchestrate किया जो कि दो हज़ार बाइस में हमने देखा. अच्छा उसके बाद ना उसके follow up में हमने देखा कि चलिए यह तो होता ना regime change. खान को हटाना था, खान हट गया अब जी सब business as usual but that's what I want you guys to understand is कि इसके geopolitical repercussions क्या थे? Right? So हमने देखा कि सिर्फ़ वह regime change नहीं हुआ बल्कि जो नई government आई उसने major चीज़ें change की Pakistan के अंदर. जिस तरह सुनने में आया कि जी Pakistan जो है पहले तो यह है कि वह Russia के खिलाफ stance नहीं ले रहा था फिर उसने Russia के खिलाफ stance भी लिया उसने Ukraine को support भी किया. सुनने में आया कि Ukraine को weapons गई Pakistan की तरफ से और और उससे हमें you know finally जो हम starved थे towards dollars वह हमें कुछ dollars मिल गए. फिर उसके बाद कुछ चीज़ें हमें नज़र आई जो कि बड़ी weird थी. जिस तरह US ambassador जो है वह गवादर में था और वह तस्वीर खेज के उन्होंने पूरी दुनिया में शायद की कि जी वह port के बिल्कुल सामने खड़ा हुआ है और वह हंस रहा है. And that geopolitically वह diplomatically was very embarrassing for China, right? Because आपने basically China को आकर बोला कि यार तुम्हारी सारी investment अब America ने take over कर ली है. It was a हा हा moment for China और उसके follow up में हमने देखा कि जहां पर चाहे नवाज शरीफ हों, चाहे इमरान खान साहब हों जब भी prime ministers गए हैं China में किसी किसी major conference में तो Pakistan has always been right next like Xi Jinping होंगे, उसके बाद you know Putin होंगे, फिर इमरान खान साहब या नवाज शरीफ साहब होंगे. इस बार आपके prime minister चौथी line में पीछे थे. One belt one road summit के अंदर CPAC का नाम mention ही नहीं हुआ जो flagship project था. दो सौ billion dollars के नए projects आए, एक सौ बीस countries आई हुई थी I believe global South की और वह एक बड़ा power move थी you know China की और Russia की और उसके अंदर Pakistan का mention भी नहीं. Pakistan को एक नया project नहीं मिला. ML one का project होना था. उसके बारे में कोई पेश रफ़्त नहीं हुई बल्कि China ने poke करना शुरू कर दिया. So हमारी एक चालीस साल की long standing policy थी of strategic depth with Afghanistan. Last year हमने देखा कि यार for no good reason हमने अफगानियों को बाहर निकालना शुरू कर दिया. चालीस साल की policy को हमने दो minute में ज़रीर किया. और हमने make sure किया कि वह hostility जो है ना वह मज़ीद बढ़े और वह एक hostile western border वन जाए आपका. Meanwhile China ने for all intention purposes Afghanistan को ना सिर्फ़ recognize कर लिया बल्कि वह invest कर रहा है China के अंदर, Afghanistan के अंदर. वह एक literally CPEG को bypass करके एक alternate route बना रहा है Afghanistan और Iran के through. But Pakistan for some weird reason जब Afghanistan is now open for trade, जब Pakistan can really utilize Afghanistan for its own growth तब Pakistan हम Afghanistan को दूर कर रहा है. China को China के बारे में बात ही नहीं कर रहा. So you know again वह एक shift नज़र आ रहा आपको. Similarly आप Iran से पट्टा कर रहे हो कूब रख थोड़ कीजिए हम Iran से जंग कर रहे होंगे but suddenly वह भी हमें होता हुआ नज़र आ रहा है. So एक एक shift geopolitically आपको नज़र आ रहा है Pakistan की body language में Pakistan की जो इस वक़्त current ruling class है उनकी understanding में उनके framework में जिसमें आपको नज़र आ रहा कि अच्छा यार क्योंकि अब वह fight इतनी Twenty twenty two तक एक new elite आ रही थी जो कि disruptors थे. जो जैसा Trump थे वहां पर Pakistan में इमरान खान was that who was a disruptor and उनके खिलाफ एक old elite एक old ruling class जो कह रही है कि यार you know what disruption is not going to work तुम disruption के नाम पर तबाह कर दोगे मुल्क को and they believe कि in this great power race we are better suited to go with the Western camp. अच्छा अब यहां पर मैं क्योंकि बहुत लंबा हो गया बहुत detailed हो गया और आप सोच रहे होंगे कि why is he going in all of this तो मैं इस वाली video को wrap करता हूं and then tomorrow I'll go more into पाकिस्तानी elections and and you know what's happening here. But इसमें मैं दो तीन चीज़ें mention करना चाहूंगा. जो इस वक्त नई cold war हो रही है ना उसमें सिर्फ़ America नहीं कर रहा उसमें China और Russia भी you know different regime changes कर रहे हैं. ज़ाहिर again like I said कि अब camps वन रहे हैं. अब अब दोस्तियां यारियां बढ़ रही हैं और वह setup हो रहा है अब delay हो रही हैं पूरी दुनिया में delay हो रही हैं कि कौन किसको किन चीज़ों में support करेगा एक chess का board है और उस chess के board के अंदर you know different But वहां पर जो है वह China की support थी current government को. Meanwhile America ने बड़ा show डाला कि देखो जी यह शाम election हुआ है, सारा कुछ हुआ है. Pakistan में America की support है तो America कुछ भी नहीं बोल रहा. China खैर generally वैसे ही नहीं बोलता. लेकिन यहां पर different scene है. Argentina में हमें western back एक बंदार आया है जो कि Argentina historically थोड़ा socialist रहा है. वहां पर एक hard core neoliberal capitalist आ गया है. तो यह और अब Africa आप चले जाए ना? सुधान में जंग चल रही है, Ethiopia में जंग हो रही है. पता नहीं चार पांच और जगहों पर वह papa नियों गिनी है या क्या है जहां पर वह French corona ने बाहर निकाल दिया है. So पूरी दुनिया में one way or the other regime changes हो रही हैं, battle lines draw हो रही हैं. जब आप bricks की बात करते हैं for example global South की तो South Africa जब जाता है और जाकर international court of justice में जाकर court case लेकर जाता है तो basically इस वजह से लेकर जा रहा है because अगर China और Russia लेकर जाएगा ना तो China और Russia को बड़ा बदनाम किया हुआ है America ने कि यह तो है ही हमारे खिलाफ हमारे दुश्मन है यह तो हमें तबाह करना चाहते हैं. That is why South Africa is doing that but South Africa is doing that as a as a frontman of these global south of the Chinese Russia camp. Similarly Brazil जब बात करता है कि हमें नई currency लेकर आनी है तो वह pushed and backed by Russia and China है. जब Iran जो है वह पूरे Middle East की great game खेल रहा है तो वह backed by Russia and China है. So यह understand करना ज़रूरी है. मैं इस वजह से बार बार इसको mention कर रहा हूं because यह बहुत सारी चीज़ें ना Pakistan में current environment में बोलना थोड़ा वह था आगे पता नहीं क्या होगा इसकी बोलने के बाद but देखिए मेरा आप America was aiding and providing weapons. जो सऊदियों की जंग थी with the with the हुती rebels in in Yemen, they were not able to be successful over there. वह Afghanistan में जिस तरह से निकले that was humiliating and that was essentially a defeat. So हमें एक यहां पर एक चीज़ नज़र आ रही है कि दस साल के अंदर जो है ना इतना वह American super power जो कि supreme रही है वह dwindling होती हुई नज़र आ रही है. फिर इसी तरीके से आप Ukraine, Russia में देखते और even conventional warfare में Russia seems to be winning. Israel Palestine जो most recent है वहां पर I think even though वह support कर रहे हैं वह अंधाधुन कर रहे हैं but the level of narrative जो जो narrative की जंग जो America ने loose की है I think it is unprecedented. It has never happened before. जिस level के ऊपर पूरी दुनिया जो है ऐसा तो America को गालियां दे रही है और कह रही है कि यार उनका rule based order नहीं है उनका मतलब उनका कोई international order नहीं है. उनका जो rule based order है वह बस यह है कि American might is right. Right? So so America in a lot of ways चाहे वह soft power में हो, चाहे वह hard power में हो is weakening and we can see that and that's again I would just want you to go and and read about Syria में क्या हुआ, Venezuela में क्या हुआ, Afghanistan में इन्होंने किस तरह से retreat किया? Ukraine Russia war का क्या situation है? And just make that mind note कि अच्छा America that was all powerful maybe they are not that powerful anymore and internally उनका एक बहुत major crisis चल रहा है जिसमें internally उनके जो America खोजा था ना strong USA वाला America internally उनके बड़े मसाल शुरू हो गए हैं. Economics के उनके बड़े मसाल चल रहे हैं. So just make a mental note of that. But anyways यहां पर मैं आज के episode को ख़त्म करूंगा. आज हमने सीखा कि दुनिया में एक नई cold war का आख़ाज़ हो चुका हुआ है. दो major super powers या दो major camps emerge कर चुके हुए हैं और चूंकि वह दो major camps globally emerge कर चुके हुए हैं तो उसी तरह के छोटे camps Pakistan में भी emerge कर रहे हैं और दुनिया के हर country में emerge कर रहे हैं और उसी का एक direct impact है Pakistan की politics पर. Pakistan की politics सारी की सारी जहां पर आज खड़ी हुई है वह मैं कहूंगा 70% उसका external impact है और 30% उसका जो है ना internal है जो कि हम अगली कल की video में discuss करेंगे कि Pakistan के internal dynamics क्या हैं? Pakistan की क्या ऐसी changes आईं जिसकी वजह से PTI का rise and fall हुआ और आने वाले वक़्त के अंदर जब मेरा जाती ख़याल यह है कि noon ली ख़कूमत बनाएगी तो उनको क्या challenges face होंगे? क्या वह sustain कर सकेंगे? क्या वह थोड़े ऐसे के लिए चल पाएंगे? Pakistan overall अगले बारह से चौबीस महीने में किन मुश्किल वक़्त से गुज़रेगा?
